Hannah Kirkman is an Analyst Relations Consultant specialising in building mutually beneficial relationships between industry analysts and IT/communications companies.

Hannah has more than 17 years experience in business-to-business influencer communications across multiple sectors and geographies, including over eight years in-house and eight years as an Industry Analyst. She works with clients across the technology spectrum, including software, telecoms/networking, services and security. Hannah is also an active member of the Committee for the Institute of Industry Analyst Relations (IIAR), established to promote best practice in analyst relations.

Hannah spent more than five years driving the EMEA analyst relations programme for Avaya, Inc., building its brand and reputation from start-up to major market player with key European analysts.

Prior to Avaya, Hannah headed up analyst relations for Lucent Technologies in Europe, where she shaped Lucent’s AR activities into a proactive, cross-company programme from a business-unit focused, reactive structure. During this time, she achieved a very positive shift in industry analyst perceptions of the European AR programme, moving it from last to first place according to independent industry rankings.

Hannah began her career as an industry analyst, initially for Datapro (now part of Gartner) covering European server technologies and cross-sector custom research programmes, and then as a Senior Analyst for the Yankee Group, where she was the company’s European expert on e-commerce, outsourcing, and customer care and billing, and a regular public speaker at industry events.

Hannah has a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
