Focus on… InfoTrends

 

InfoTrends provides worldwide market research and strategic consulting for the digital imaging and document solutions industry. Company analysts provides research, analysis, forecasts, and advice to help clients understand market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to grow the business.

One of the tools devised by InfoTrends is a web-based training program designed to train a vendor’s sales force. Available 24x7, the portal offers a self-paced curriculum with an audio guide and interactive exercises.

 Perception Audits

 

Perception Audits are a key tool to check how a vendor is perceived by the industry analyst community. The beginning of the calendar year is a prime time to quiz the analyst community about this, before analysts get embroiled in producing their research programs for the calendar year.

Further, conducting a Perception Audit at the same time annually, can help a vendor to understand how the perception of the analyst community could have shifted year on year. Thus the analysis contained in the report helps to provide a bedrock of information for a vendor to make decisions regarding its Analyst Relations’ strategy.

Perception Audits can be conducted regionally or worldwide. Much effort is put into eliciting responses from the analyst community and response rates are high, thus the intelligence provided in the report can be treated with a good level of confidence.
