Training course: Sales for non-sales people

(One-day public speaking training course held at the Institute of Directors*, 116 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5ED on dates to be advised from 09:00am to 5:00pm with coffee served from 08:30am)

Consultants, analysts, lawyers, engineers, marketers, technologists, accountants, bankers, fund-raisers, those in public relations, people running their own businesses and many others - what do they have in common? In a world where many are not only judged by the quality of service they provide but by the amount of income directly derived from their work, the ability to recognise and develop business opportunities has never been more in demand. In the 21st century, revenue is being increasingly used as a form of performance measurement.

Yet with guidance and practise, all of us can use proven techniques and criteria to qualify sales leads to improve our sales abilities; to be able to do this simply, confidently and effectively need not be a mystery anymore.

Note: As marketing and sales disciplines are highly complimentary to each other, attendees may wish to attend the Marketing for non-marketers and Sales for non-sales people courses taking place on consecutive days (ie attending the Marketing course on the Monday and the Sales Course on the following day (Tuesday)).

* Note that the IoD operates a strict dress code of smart/casual wear. Guests wearing jeans, t-shirts, trainers or open toe shoes will be refused entry to the building.
