Public speaking: 1:1 tuition

For those who require intensive training in public speaking and have the complete focus of the trainer, then 1:1 tuition is provided. This is conducted in a supportive and encouraging environment. Delegates will benefit from a facilitator who is a member of Toastmasters International, a global organisation devoted to the art of public speaking. The facilitator is an Advanced Public Speaker & Toastmaster and was runner up in the UK & Ireland Public Speaking Championships 2006. The training will examine the key principles of public speaking, such as:

* Keeping an audience's attention
* Structuring a speech
* The voice and vocal variety
* Use of words
* Body language
* Use of props
* Good use of Powerpoint as a prop

Whilst attending a one-day training course in public speaking is laudable, good public speaking is only achieved through continuous practise, practise, practise. Public speaking healthchecks are offered to those who have attending TrainingClix public speaking courses and who wish to continually hone their communication skills.
