Public speaking is an art form. So is communicating to the analyst community. Put the two together and there is a compelling need to get it right. And, shamefully, time and money devoted to developing an analyst relations program will have been wasted.

The purpose of the course is to provide decision-makers responsible for speaking to the analyst community with invaluable communication skills. Conducted within a supportive and encouraging environment, this one-day course focuses on:

* Setting the scene: The competitive arena for analyst companies
* Communicating the right message to the right company and analyst
* Presenting oneself before an audience
* Speaking before an audience
* Exploring the use of vocal variety
* Selecting the right words to communicate

* Organising thoughts into a logical sequence
* Learning the value of gestures and body movements
* Learning the value of props
* Impromptu speaking
* Being a Toastmaster/Master of Ceremony
* Answering questions

Delegates will benefit from individual and group tuition from a facilitator who has worked for key analyst companies, the Hewson Group and IDC, and is now an Analyst Relations Consultant, Trainer and Public Speaker. She is also a member of Toastmasters International, a global not-for-profit organisation devoted to the art of public speaking, and so is an Advanced Communicator Silver(ACS).
